Introduction

Bleach: The 3rd Phantom is a tactical role-playing game released on Nintendo DS, featuring 25 main chapters and a bonus tower with 30 floors to unlock additional characters.

Progression and Experience

Skill Points

They can be farmed infinitely, although it takes a long time.
It is impossible to reset a character's skill point distribution.

Experience and Character Levels

Character levels can be increased up to level 99.
Healers gain experience quickly due to their healing abilities (see farming section).

Equipment and Items

Items

Certain items, such as those increasing spiritual pressure or recovering skill points (SP), are very powerful.
Items are one-time use, unlike equipment.
Items can be farmed infinitely.

Equipment

Grant permanent stats to characters.
Can be accumulated in the inventory and do not degrade.

Affiliation and Zanpakutō Choice

Character affiliation: a friendly mechanic but not essential for progression.
Zanpakutō types: Power, Speed, Technique.

                Power: High damage and improved evasion.
Speed: Fast, but less effective in attacks.
Technique: Stylish and useful since there are few good technique-type characters at the start of the game.

            

Character Statistics

HP: Health points.
SP: Skill points (used for skills and maintaining Bankai).
ATK: Attack (increases damage in combat).
DEF: Defense (reduces damage taken).
ACC: Accuracy of attacks and skills.
EVA: Evasion (reduces the chance of being hit).
Weapon Skill: Unique skills for each character.

Skill Point Distribution

                Best defensive stat: Evasion (keeps characters alive longer).
Best offensive stat: Attack (to finish levels quickly, ideal for endgame).
Defense: Less useful compared to evasion.
Accuracy: Important, but secondary.
SP: Improve based on your character's needs.
HP: can be a very good alternative for survivability 1 point = 10 HP, very simple to have a high HP pool.

            

Bankai and Character Unlocking

The protagonist unlocks their Bankai at chapter 19.
To activate Bankai: fill the spiritual pressure gauge, then use it on the next turn.
Most Vizards and Arrancars need to be defeated in 5 turns or less to unlock (in the tower).
Arturo (Tower floor 27): Finish the entire level in less than 5 turns.
Grimmjow (Tower floor 30): Finish the level without a turn limit (very difficult, farming required).

Farming (EXP, Items, and Skill Points)

Experience

Gained by replaying levels.
Healers gain a lot of EXP by healing.
Meiyu skill (cross-healing) maximizes EXP (since EXP is multiplied by the number of people healed).

Items

Spiritual Pressure Up: Farmable at floor 14 (Kenpachi drops one for sure).

Skill Points (SP)

Earned by completing new levels with a 5-turn bonus. --> +5 points for members present in the team upon completion)
Best floor: floor 12 (quick, doable in 3-4 turns with Fujimaru or Arturo).
Endgame: floor 30, more profitable but requires a very strong team (with mine I take between 18 and 22 minutes) --> +50 points for members present in the team upon completion.
Note: More SP does not extend Bankai duration, only weapon skill levels affect it. Ex: Fujimaru with 150 SP will have a 3-turn Bankai just like if he had 550 SP.
